NOBLEWOOD PARK CHARLIE

Noblewood Park Charlie was purchased as a weanling by the Bensons Family in 2009 as a future broodmare.

She is from the number one Holstein dam line –- Stamm 776. Charlie's dam,Hella XI, also known as Cadence, was imported into Australia by Robynne Mc Taggart of Noblewood Park Stud.

Cadence, is by the famous dressage stallion Coriander and out of the State Premium mare, Doreen I. Coriander is probably best known and respected for producing the quietest minds in Holstein. His progeny have won advanced dressage and show jumping competitions and are renowned to be elastic movers.

Charlies maternal Grand Sire, Caretino, competed at the Grand Prix and Nations Cup level in Europe for many years. He then returned to Holstein for breeding purposes and is one of Germany’s top stallions, producing horses that excel in both dressage and jumping.

Charlie has produced an exceptional foal every year for Bensons Sporthorses, including Bensons Femme Fatale, now jumping at 1.35 - 1.40 metre level, Verismo, jumping at 1.10 meter level, as well as Quantum Leap, a full brother to Bensons Quicksilver.

Charlie has excellent movement as a foal and has carried on that exceptional movement in her progeny.

Cassini II, (the younger full brother of Cassini I), was approved in Holstein in 1996 with a high jumping index. However, he was later injured and did not compete but was still sought after as a sire, with some breeders believing his offspring are better than that of his full brother, Cassini I.

Cassini I & II are sons of the great Capitol I. Capitol I was on the top of the WBFSH (World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses) rankings lists 2000-2001. There are over 25 approved stallions by Capitol in Holstein, for example Dobel's Cento, Carthago Z, Carolus I & II, Calato, Cardento, C-Indoctro, Carano and Clearway as well as the Cassini brothers. Worldwide there are many more approved sons and in Germany alone there are 564 registered sport horses which have won in excess of  €5.3 million in prizemoney. Capitol I was a valuable foundation sire in the Holstein stud book.

BENSONS HY VISTA

Bensons Hy Vista was one of our competition horses before becoming a brood mare for our breeding programme.

She has jumped to 1.20m easily with a correct jumping style and a flamboyant back end. She is a tall deep bodied mare who has produced three foals for Bensons Sporthorses. Hy Vista has a lovely temperament on the ground and under saddle as well as having been an excellent mother.

Hy Vista’s oldest foal, the talented Bensons Cat Balou (by Balou Du Rouet), is currently jumping Mini Prix with young rider and owner, Racheal Yovich

She has either won or placed in most of her classes. Cat Balou jumped at the Patrons Cup in 2019 and had 3 clear rounds, with the final jump off being 1.35m.

Hy Vistas two and a half year old son, Bensons Dimeeblue (by Eurostar), shows an abundance of talent with his free jumping and is a delight to handle with his terrific temperament.

Her latest weanling foal, Bensons Quickstix (the first foal by Bensons Quicksilver) is an elegant long striding filly who will suit either jumping or eventing in the future.

Bensons Hy Vista will continue her life as a successful broodmare.
