Bensons Cat Balou (Kitty) is by the great and influential stallion, Balou Du Rouet

Balou du Rouet: Balou showed his jumping qualities in the 30 day test in 2002, where he achieved a 9.2 score for jumping. He qualified for the Bundeschampionate in 2004, and in 2005, he won several young jumping horse tests and was a Bundeschampionate finalist.

Balou du Rouet is not only by far the most successful son of his famous sire, the Olympic champion and three-time World Cup winner Baloubet du Rouet, but also appears once again among the top 20 of the world's best jumper sires according to the WBFSH ranking. He is also one of the 20 best eventing sires in the world. Balou du Rouet owes this record he has maintained for the last three years to the large number of successful offspring he has produced.

Kitty is out of Bensons Hy Vista, one of our competition horses before becoming a brood mare for our breeding programme. Hy Vista was by Yalambi's Val D'isere out of Impeccable Lizzie a half sister to Sarnia Park Flaunt, by cleveland bay stallion, "Leavenmouth Impeccable".

Kitty is now owned and under the guidance of Racheal Yovich

has been jumping her at the 1.30 to 1.40 m level .
